New Sign Samples, owls and details on yummy apple butter!

So I have been working on some sign samples for a Christmas Card making ladies night I am hosting next week with a friend of mine, Ami!  I am really looking for simple hang out time but also hope to have a few folks interested in what I really love to do.... PAINT.

Here are just a few samples.... some are not completely finished (need their hanging materials) but I am slow on the computer and thought I would at least post what I do have.

This is my friend's dad's sign----- has two hooks on the back for hanging on the wall ($15)

Last but not least---- I have a batch full of yummy apple butter that was just canned. I will be posting pictures of them as well.  Selling them for $4.50 each (come with old fashion clothe decor!)

almost done---

Super excited for the ALMOST complete FIRST order!!  I am almost finish and plan on wrapping them and getting them in the mail tomorrow.  Painting and being creative can be so much fun.  Thanks for your support Karla (my sister Priscilla's friend that made the order)!

Looking forward to working on some new ideas too.  Found the perfect Christmas Red to paint with.... time to get ready for the Holiday Season!!

Door Signs---

So I have started playing around with different ways to make door signs that are helpful or welcoming.  Here are two examples--- small Welcome sign and a "Please Knock Baby Asleep" signs.  Planning on making lots more samples too.

The small door signs are $6.00 if you are interested!

I am also working on some fun girl room owls.  They are not finished--- still need to touch up, add background, etc.  But thought I would share the fun I am having!

Holidays---

So the garage is finally clean which means I get to get to work!!  Excited for possible orders and hope to get more examples going this week.  I am currently working on a personalized toy bin for my son which I will post once it's finished with prices---

However here is one piece I have been working on today--- on an owl kick.  More to come!!

Signs of Inspiration---

This board sign was created by the request of my sister, Priscilla.  She loves to have these signs made to give to friends she builds relationships with as she moves place to place as a Army wife and mom.  Thankful for her encouragement!

Jude's Art

So here are a few examples of paintings I did to match Jude's bedroom bedding.  Used 18'24 inch canvas with acrylic paint.  I love to make my own art matching pieces in the room!

Something new----

So after some encouragement I decided to create a blog site dedicated to different avenues I may take with art.  I really do enjoy being creative but mostly creating things to fit certain places.  With that in mind I like to make personal things for friends and family as well. 

Some of my past pieces include personalized name boards or qoute boards.  I tend to be more country with my designs as board signs tend to look rustic and as if they should be over a porch swing.
